Very friendly staff, very accommodating, first time that pictures are like the real :-)))
Everything was perfect
We had a spacious room with comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful and the barman made great pisco sours!
The shower water was not very wam - we stayed there for 3 nights. At first we thought it was a one off, but if didn't get any warmer over the next 2 days and also the pressure was really weak. The heaters in our room were switched off in the morning by hotel staff so that when we returned int he evening our room was cold. We felt that for the expensive cost of the room we stayed in that the least the hotel could do was to leave the heating on, especially when it can go to below zero degrees at night time in Cusco. For the expensive rates that the hotel are charging showers need to be improved and also a door included in shower room - there was no door through from bedroom to shower. This is especially necessary with a family or group staying in the Junior suite, which has 3 double beds in one room.
Staff was very helpful and their assistance, suggestions, tips were very valuable. Drinks at the hotel's bar were really good. Accomodations were very comfortable, clean and spacious. We really enjoyed the fact that the hotel was located close enough to the main plaza but not next to it. The city is an amazing place to visit. There is a lot of walking involved so coming back to a comfortable, quiet hotel is priceless when you have such a busy itinerary. We would definately recommend this hotel to our friends and family. We loved our stay, we loved Cuzco.
The hotel is situated in a quite spot of the city centre (only about 10 minutes walk from Plaza De Armes). Excellent location. The hotel is tastefully decorated. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The staff are very friednly and helpful.
Though we arrived in the morning, our room was ready for occupation. Staff at the hotel was extremely friendly and helpful. Whatever help we requested, they went the extra mile to accommodate and did so with a great attitude. Outstanding !! The hotel is quite unique as it occupies a historic building. It is a newly established property and hence, all rooms and facilities are new and accordingl to modern standards. Rooms are located on 2 floors around 2 patios. Each room is individually designed and offers spacious layouts. Breakfast buffet is very good with excellent extra items custom made by the kitchen staff. All served with a big smile. A memorable stay, in a unique property with one of the best staff we have met during our 2 weeks traveling around Peru - defenitely a recommendation !!
The staff were so friendly and helpful, the room was warm and inviting.I Would recomend it to every one.
Very friendly staff and large and agreable rooms
The facilities and the people are wonderful: The careful attention to details, beautiful aesthetics, and excellent service at Tambo Arriero made my stay extremely cosy and relaxing. I especially appreciated the fresh complimentary breakfasts and being able to check in early after a long night in the Lima airport and a 6:30am arrival to Cuzco. I actually ended up staying 5 nights rather than the 2 nights I had originally booked.
Very clean rooms Very friendly and helpfull staff Good breakfast Warm hotel atmosphere
The hotel is not far from the city center, but it is located in a terrible neighbourhood. It is a restaurated Colonial House with friendly and helpful staff. A suite is not worth the price. Just take a nice double.
The service is very good, the rooms are nicely designed and clean and the breakfast is a great start of the day.
Beautiful buliding with atmosphere
Too low temperature in the rooms
The hotel was simply wonderful and charming. The hotel is set in an old spanish home. They really did a great job inside the rooms and in the courtyard. It brought you back in time. The bed was comfy and the rain shower was a relaxing delight after a long day of hiking and sight seeing. The hotel staff spoke great English and were always very helpful. Simply a beautiful hotel inside and out.
I only have one small minor complaint. Since the hotel is made out of thick stone it does a great job at keeping in the heat...sometimes too good a job. I like for to be a little cold when I sleep, so it would have been nice to have a fan in the room to help circulate the air, as the only other option was to open the door. Other than that, I greatly enjoyed my stay.
